EARTHQUAKE

again and again

i don't feel the tremor!!!
the earthquake occurred about 10mintures ago nia!!
sigh!!

story telling time since I'm very free now!!
hahahahahahahahha!!

26th December 2004
On Christmas Day
my cousin, sister and i overnight at Gold Coast near Queensbay.
(no queensbay mall yet that time)
The house belongs to my cousin's husband
which is empty...
That night, we watched SHUTTER until late midnight.

after watching the movie in that EMPTY house,
we went to sleep.
Around 9am, we were rudely waken up by the tremor.
and we were TERRIFIED!!
the wardrobe, cupboard, bed were MOVING!!

3 of us were looking at each other without saying anything!!!
My cousin said "shut our eyes and pray to God"
and we did....
the vibration lasted 3 minutes or more
but i definitely felt more than 30minutes!!
when the tremor ended, we started making phone calls.
and i rush to the balcony and look at the beach!
Nothing!!
and when we finally knew it was earthquake,
we were relief...
at least i found out that
THE GHOST DIDN'T HUNT US OKAY??!!
hahahaha!!

in the afternoon, we went to Gurney and
i saw those mud. Ewwww!!

honestly, it never come across my mind that
so many people died of this incident!!!

My uncle who worked in Adventist Hospital told us
they received many cases of death and injury after this incident.
A devastating incident indeed and
will remain vividly in my memories.
